Welcome
I'm Tom Dascombe and welcome to our website. My mission is to make Manor House Stables the most successful flat training yard in the country. I believe that our fresh approach, the abilities and experience of my staff and jockeys, together with the investment from my partners, Michael Owen and Andrew Black, will enable this vision to be realised. The last six years have taught me that no two owners look for the same thing from racehorse ownership. I believe training racehorses is a business like any other. I get to know my owners, I find out what they want from racehorse ownership and then seek to meet their needs. So whatever it is that you are looking for please call me and I will be delighted to invite you here to take a look and discuss your requirements. I hope you enjoy visiting our website. Please use the shaded navigation bar above to find your way around the site. |
Manor House Stables
Manor House Stables LLP is a partnership between myself and co-owners Michael Owen and Andrew 'Bert' Black. Originally converted into a training facility from a cattle barn in 2007 by Michael and Louise Owen, I joined the team in November 2009 and since then we have gone from strength to strength, culminating last year with two Royal Ascot winners in Brown Panther and Rhythm Of Light and a second place in the St Leger, again with Brown Panther. For us, this is just the beginning of what we can achieve. |
Ownership
At Manor House Stables we have an ever growing string of exciting horses in training. We also have a variety of horses and shares available for sale on our horses for sale page, as well as some exciting partnership opportunities for the forthcoming 2012 turf season. I train for individuals, partnerships, clubs and syndicates. Please take a look under the 'horses' and 'ownership' sections on the navigation bar to find out more. |
Facilities
The facilities in place when I arrived two years ago were great. Since then a new gallop has been installed to my specification and more recently, an equine swimming pool and veterinary centre have been completed. These amazing facilities and the idyllic location make this the place where you should want to have your horse trained. Visit our facilities pages to find out more. |
Racing
In 2011 I sent out 51 winners from Manor House Stables and won £585,000 in prize money. Our ambitions for 2012 are once again challenging, this time aiming for 60 winners and to win more than £650,000 in prize money. We were delighted to achieve last year's prize money target as early as September, on the day when Brown Panther finished 2nd in the St Leger. You can keep track of our progress towards our yearly targets on our racing statistics page. |
