MHS 5-a-side Challenge
Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011The Manor House Stables football team completed their final warm up game last night with a 5-5 draw against Bankhouse, Donald McCain’s fearsome outfit.
The big game, Manor House Stables vs The Super Saturday Syndicate, takes place at Malpas Sports & Social Club next Monday at 7.30pm. The Super Saturday Syndicate is a team comprising friends and family of Michael. The inaugural fixture took place this time last year and ended in an 11-5 reverse for Manor House Stables.
The MHS team will doubtless be hoping to improve on last year’s effort and have made some exciting signings during the January transfer window, amid persistent rumours that The Super Saturday Syndicate have undergone an intensive fitness and training regime in preparation for the tie.
Michael, as per last year, will be refereeing the match. The game will be aired live on pay-per-view, Sky Sports 5, at a cost of £29.99.
