The Thursday Thinker

Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010

This week’s Thursday Thinker focuses on the Breeders’ Cup which takes place this Friday and Saturday at Churchill Downs, Kentucky.

The 22 strong European challenge bids to emulate last year’s record breaking haul of 6 victories, but they face a difficult task at Churchill Downs as the competition returns to dirt for the first time since 2007. The turf course is also riding particularly fast, which is perceived by some to favour the American runners.

Which of the following European challengers rates a good bet at Churchill Downs this weekend?
(You may select more than one horse)

Bright Horizon, A P O’Brien (Marathon)
Precision Break, P F I Cole (Marathon)
Together, A P O’Brien (Juvenile Fillies Turf)
