Time to get up

Thursday, September 30th, 2010

It is not just us humans that do not want to get out of bed in the morning. Sonia Eaton had to encourage Deep Impact ex Lhiz to get up and exercise first thing but it did give her a good chance to give one of her favourite horses a cuddle.

You just can’t get the staff…

Tuesday, September 28th, 2010

The professional film crew at Manor House Stables get a touch of the bloopers while trying to read Tom’s ridiculous comment on the Le Vie Dei Colori colt;

“This is the last crop of Le Vie Dei Colori of which I’ve had real success with before. I very much like this horse and I couldn’t help notice Bon Jovi in the 3rd dam and I’d love the new owners to call this colt ‘Living On A Prayer’!!”

Having taken a deep breath, the film crew attempt a second shot at Tom’s comment on the Le Vie Dei Colori colt;

“This is the last crop of Le Vie Dei Colori of which I’ve had real success with before. I very much like this horse and I couldn’t help notice Bon Jovi in the 3rd dam and I’d love the new owners to call this colt ‘Living On A Prayer’!!”

After two failed shoots, the incompetent commentator, Alex Owen, steps aside for the ultimate professional, Mike Foster of Deva Racing, to have a bash.

He fails to impress and the executive decision is eventually taken to remove the Bon Jovi reference from the fourth and final sucessful shoot.

You just can’t get the staff these days.
