The latest veterinary technology

Tuesday, August 24th, 2010

The other day we had a visit from vets from Leahurst, Liverpool University who brought their latest scoping equipment with them. This equipment enabled the vets to view the horse’s internal breathing and soft palate while they galloped. Although it looks quite intrusive the horses did not seem to mind and were too busy concentrating on galloping rather than the tube up their nose.
