The Racing Post: This little conditions event was a clear opportunity for “JUNOOB to resume winning ways and he duly landed his third success from four outings since switching to Polytrack. The only slight worry beforehand was if this became very tactical, which it did thanks to Uphold setting an uneven pace, but he still bolted up. With an official mark of 95 he´s not simple to place, but he loves this surface and there could well be something for him at the valuable Winter Derby meeting here in March.”

It’s always good to have a winner, but even better to have a winner for such keen and enthusiastic owners!

The guys at Star Sports were so delighted with their horse they have already knocked together a little video diary of the day. Spielberg won’t be losing any sleep, but it’s a fantastic effort all the same!! It’s great to see proud owners and we hope Gaul Wood goes onto bigger and better things for everyone at Star Sports…

Gaul Wood won today at Lingfield under Richard for his owners Star Sports. Star Sports racing manager David Haddrell was quoted in the Racing Post saying: “QUOTES: David Haddrell, operations manager for the firm and racing manager to the syndicate: “That was lovely. It´s nice to get Gaul Wood back and winning after his injury. Hopefully we´ll still be eligible for 0-85 races after that so we can keep him on the all weather for one more run before going to the turf.”
