Trainers are asked to attend in person or appoint a representative to select their preferred stall when their runner(s) name (s) are drawn. Tom has Jonny Mudball and Noverre To Go in the race so fingers crossed their names get pulled out early.

Wolf Slayer is jointly owned by Andrew Black & Michael Owen and was named after Michael scored a hat-trick in the Champions League against Wolfsburg back in December.

Water Ice won under Richard Kingscote today at Wolverhampton.  The De La Warr Racing owned filly was ridden clear in the final furlong and won comfortably by 3 lengths.

The Racing Post reported “WATER ICE, upped in trip and trying Polytrack for the first time on her nursery debut, showed improved form to win nicely. She looks capable of winning again in this sort of company.”
